From May on throughout the summer months until October we operate a weekly vegetable box delivery scheme.
The weekly box is of seasonal nature, containing staples such as onions, potatoes, carrots and beetroot.
Depending on the month, a variety of fresh greens are added such as chard, spinach, mixed salad as well as peas, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers,etc.
The size and content of the box can vary according to the customers’ needs and taste.
Each box comes with a monthly newsletter containing recipe ideas and seasonal news.
We currently sell the produce on Bandon Farmers’ Market every Saturday, from 9.30 – 1.30 pm. During the summer you can also find us at Clonakilty Farmers Market, every Friday.
The markets allow us to establish regular customers, many of which became friends and whose patronage we still enjoy, 3 years after starting the project. This direct contact with our customers is essential. We get important feedback regarding the quality of the vegetables and we learned that we have to be flexible to the demands and needs of the customer. Being able to communicate directly about the origins of the produce helps to build a strong level of trust.
We also sell our produce directly from the garden.
