Learning by doing – Volunteering and work experience

We welcome horticulture students who are looking for valuable work experience as part of their training. By spending time in our garden you gain insight into all stages of organic crop-production: from soil preparation to seed sowing, plant maintenance and pest and disease management. So far we have accommodated FETAC 5 students from Ireland and agriculture/horticulture students from Europe/US.

We also get a lot of help from volunteers042-e who want to pick up food growing skills for either themselves or their communities, schools or employment. We offer accommodation, home-cooked meals and the appreciation of interest and enthusiasm in exchange for 7 hours work per day.
