We welcome horticulture students who are looking for valuable work experience as part of their training. By spending time in our garden you gain insight into all stages of organic crop-production: from soil preparation to seed sowing, plant maintenance and pest and disease management. So far we have accommodated FETAC 5 students from Ireland and agriculture/horticulture students from Europe/US.
We also get a lot of help from volunteers
who want to pick up food growing skills for either themselves or their communities, schools or employment.
We offer accommodation, home-cooked meals and the appreciation of interest and enthusiasm in exchange for 7 hours work per day.
